Sterling Estates of West Cobb Residences

The Sterling Difference

|

What is the Sterling Difference?

When you’re touring senior living communities in the West Cobb marketplace, please pay close attention to the differences between Sterling Estates and the other properties. These differences are important to a senior’s happiness and wellbeing. As owners, when we designed and built Sterling Estates, we did so knowing that our friends and family members would live here. So, as you compare us to others, please ask yourself if our features and advantages will make you or your parents happier too.

Larger Acreage – Neighborhood

We’re located on 30 acres, which is on average five times larger than the competitors. With ample green space, this allows us to have more sidewalks, porches, and plenty of parking as well as a lush courtyard, bocce ball court, dog park, and raised garden beds. It is important for us to know our residents are not next to a busy road in a commercial area. Our community is surrounded by residential homes, with quick access to upscale shopping, and is a true neighborhood.

Wellness Center

We feel strongly that the physical features of our community and the services we offer to our residents really set us apart. We designed the 7,500 square foot Sterling Way Wellness Center to not only keep our residents as independent as possible but also provide a hub of socialization for them. Sterling Way wellness includes an indoor heated salt water therapeutic pool, workout machines and equipment designed specifically for seniors, Biodex balance program, chair aerobics, Dakim brain fitness and a host of other programs. We would love to share our case studies with you.

Cottages: Stress-Free Living

Moving to Sterling Estates is a positive lifestyle choice for many. No more house chores or worrying about maintenance on your home or landscaping woes. We have a large neighborhood campus with independent cottages and large two bedroom independent apartments, multiple dining venues, The Club, Wellness Center and so much more to take your retirement years to the next level of enjoyment. Because we offer care for the later stages of life, you can move in now, live independently at Sterling Estates and not have to worry if you or your spouse’s needs increase.

Dedicated Memory Care – The Grande

Our new memory care residence, The Grande, located on four acres, will open in May of 2019. It will have 36 resident suites, three specifically designed space engagement centers, and a secure interior garden and courtyard for residents’ exercise and enjoyment. Sterling Estates will be one of only two “I’m Still Here” Centers of Excellence certified by Dr. John Zeisel’s Hearthstone Institute in the state of Georgia. The “I’m Still Here” approach utilizes cutting-edge evidence based approach to programs and care for those with cognitive challenges.

Emotional Support – Chaplin

We know that our senior years can prove to be challenging when experiencing life changes. As such, we have a full-time Chaplain on staff to offer comfort, counseling, friendship and a listening ear.

Local Ownership & Management

As owners who have lived in Cobb County collectively for over 125 years, we are “hands-on” at the community level as well as deeply rooted in the local area. We are personally interested and invested in the welfare of our residents.
