Mildred Powell

Resident Care Coordinator

Mildred joined Sterling Estates in November of 2023. She graduated from nursing school in Hinsdale, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago and came south to continue her educational pursuits. After raising a family and caring for  aged parents she found her passion in nursing working with the senior population, and making them feel comfortable and loved. She enjoys working hard to make things the best she can for them. Some of the hobbies Mildred enjoys are walking trails, cooking, sewing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She counts it a privilege to work with the residents and staff at Sterling.
